ICVM No. 543/2013 provides for the provision of Securities Bookkeeping Services and issuance of securities certificates.

Brazilian law provides that this service must be provided by a legal entity authorized by the CVM. These institutions act as a link between the company and the investors (or the depository), being responsible for controlling, in computerized systems, the log books, for registering and handling the movement orders received from the asset holder, such as the sale. or transfer, and for providing for the handling of securities incident events.
